Discogenic Back pain is a condition of degenerative back pain. Degenerative condition is a term means the pain source are one or more intervertebral discs. This disorder is the usual disease causing bad disability and pain. The most common causes of low-back pain include herniated discs, back muscle strain, spinal stenosis, and many other causes. There are differences in normal lumbar disc and Discogenic lumbar disc. This Discogenic Back pain is associated with normal aging process.

As we age, there are some changes affect in spine’s structures, mainly in the intervertebral discs. Every disc will degenerate; when the degeneration comes to advance level the low back pain may occur. Discogenic back pain is associated with body movements that need more pressure in the intervertebral disc and the pressure is known as intradiscal pressure. Sitting, crouching, coughing and sneezing can increase the Discogenic back pain. Basically, the pain in the lower back area will create chronic trouble, whereby disturbs the normal living of people.
The treatment for Discogenic back pain is very difficult. Fortunately in most patients, the normal basic treatment therapy helps to solve the low-back pain. Anti-inflammatory medications, or NSAIDs are very helpful in the treatment of Discogenic Back pain, but it has some side-effects like GI bleeding. So these medications are not recommendable for the patients having stomach ulcer. Exercise is definitely a good method of approach to cure low-back pain. Exercise makes your back muscles more strong and flexible. Most of the patients with Discogenic back pain will improve soon with time and some simple treatments are enough to overcome the low-back pain.
