The treatment of cervical stenosis is different from lumbar stenosis as the place of occurrence is also different. The different types of treatments of spinal stenosis are physical therapy, weight loss, and Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications, Oral Steroid Medications and spine surgery and many more. Spine surgery is done when the patient fails in all other treatments. During the surgery the spinal nerves are fully decompressed. This means the excess bone, and ligament are removed to allow more space for the spinal nerves to run in its way freely.
